I can personally attest to the magnetic energy and realness this platform fosters. Urban Exchange isn’t just a show—it’s a movement built from the ground up.

After a full year of groundbreaking sessions, The Urban Exchange returns on Saturday, 7 June 2025, with a special 1-Year Anniversary Session hosted at the iconic One Room Music & Comedy Club in Gqeberha. This isn’t just another event—it’s a celebration of a movement that has given local artists a powerful platform to speak their truth.

Since its inception, The Urban Exchange has pushed boundaries, offering a space for raw, unfiltered self-expression through Hip Hop, Poetry, Acoustic Soul, and more. Curated by the ever-visionary Yahkeem Mavulakuvaliwe, the event series has become a staple in the Eastern Cape’s creative calendar, merging street energy with artistic excellence.

I’ll be there too. As KToG, I’ve performed at past installments and watched this platform grow into something powerful. The energy is unmatched. The authenticity? Unquestionable. It’s where voices matter and where culture lives.

No matter your race, background, or music taste—don’t miss this moment. It’s more than a show. It’s the movement.

We don’t follow trends. We build legacies. #TheUrbanExchange #HipHopNaPhakade 📸 Visuals by SIX BLX Built in the Eastern Cape. Felt Worldwide.
